Making your celebration truly unforgettable
Celebration of Life / Funerals
Parting can be such sweet sorrow!
Funerals can come in many different forms, from the traditional to totally over the top!
There are no rights or wrongs when planning your loved one's send off. The ceremony should be used as an occasion bring family, friends and well-wishers together to say their farewells. But you can also use it as an opportunity to celebrate someone’s life, personality, their impact in the world, and all that the person continues to mean to you.
I personally believe that a Celebrant-led funeral ceremony, as with all the ceremonies I officiate, should be personable, respectful and filled with the personality and memories of your loved one. Or it can be totally wild and crazy! I will support and work with you to create a ceremony that is appropriate for the departed, exploring the inclusion of favourite songs, readings or rituals that reflect the person of your loved one.
Ceremonies most often take place at a crematorium, but other locations can be chosen: an old chapel, an outdoor place, a venue that has been meaningful to the person who has died, or even at home.
