đWhy I Love Being a Gay Celebrant â Every Month, Not Just for Pride

Hello, lovely humans!

Thereâs something magical about standing at the front of a ceremony space, looking out at two people bursting with love, excitement, nerves, and joyâand knowing I get to help shape one of the most memorable moments of their lives.
As a proud gay man and a wedding celebrant, I often get extra attention during Pride Monthâand I love the rainbows, the community, and the visibility. But honestly? My passion for celebrating love isnât confined to June. Itâs a 365-days-a-year kind of thing.
đ Love Is Love (And Itâs My Favourite Thing to Celebrate)
When I became a celebrant, it wasnât just about conducting weddingsâit was about creating spaces where people feel seen, safe, celebrated, and truly themselves. For LGBTQ+ couples, that can be particularly powerful. Too often, queer love has been asked to shrink itself, hide, or seek approval. I sayânot here. Not on my watch.
Here, your love takes centre stage. Loud. Proud. Joyful. And unapologetically you.
Whether itâs two grooms walking down the aisle hand-in-hand, two brides declaring their vows in matching leather jackets, or a non-binary couple dancing down the aisle to BeyoncĂ©âIâm all in. I live for the colour, the creativity, the emotion, and the pure, unfiltered celebration.

đ But I Donât Only Officiate LGBTQ+ Weddings
Love doesnât come in just one style, shape, or spectrum. And thank goodness for that! I absolutely love working with all couplesâqueer, straight, loud, shy, sparkly, traditional, unconventional⊠If youâre fun-loving, genuine, and looking to make your ceremony meaningful and a little bit magical, weâre going to get on very well.
Your gender or sexual orientation doesnât matter to me. Your love does.
Are you giggly and sentimental? Letâs get emotional. Are you silly and playful? Iâll bring the humour.
Are you non-traditional and bold? Say no moreâIâm already planning something fabulous.
đșÂ What Matters Most? The Vibe.
To me, the perfect couple isnât a certain gender, identity, or aesthetic. The perfect couple is two people who are wildly in love and want their ceremony to reflect that. If youâre looking to bring a bit of personality, laughter, soul, and sparkle to your big dayâIâm your guy.
I want you to walk away from your ceremony saying:
âThat felt like us.â
âThat was fun!â
âI didnât want it to end!â
â€ïžÂ Letâs Make Wedding Magic Together
Whether youâre a same-sex couple looking for a celebrant who just gets it, or a straight couple wanting a ceremony full of personality and joyâI'm here for you.
I donât just celebrate LGBTQ+ love because Iâm part of the communityâI celebrate it because I believe in all love. Real love. Messy love. Joyful love. And the kind of love that makes you laugh-cry in front of 100 guests.
So yesâPride Month is wonderful. But my love for this work, pride in my community, my eagerness to celebrate love in all it guises and the beautiful humans I get to meet through it, stretches across every month. Every season. Every love story. Every heartbeat!
Hereâs to love. Hereâs to laughter. And hereâs to unforgettable ceremoniesâno matter who you are or who you love.
With pride (always),
